Absolutely ridiculous.

First of all, this is a poor attempt at copying Stick RPG.

Secondly, there were NO instructions. I was getting along pretty well, had a good job, and was getting the hang of how things worked, when all of a sudden... I get game over because I reached day 40 without buying a television. What the hell?

Next time, make the game more plausible, with less random bullsh*t.

Review/MEDALS WORK

For everyone that thinks the medals aren't working... PLAY THE GAME. Once you unlock one, check your profile. It'll be there. Trust me, I have every medal and an all-time high score. Of course, if you're too lazy, just click on my profile and see the medals for yourself. There's nothing wrong with them.

As for the game, it was the perfect level of difficulty and highly enjoyable. I would have voted this a 10 if only it were a couple levels longer. All in all, I enjoyed the cartoonish animation and the controls. It was unusual, but added a lot of character to the game.

AMAZING use of time.

It took me nearly three hours to complete this game 100%. After obtaining all medals, I feel quite accomplished. The longevity of this game, unlike others, was actually enjoyable due to the ever-increasing ammount of puzzles to solve in order to obtain completion. I've saved this to my favourites, and will definitely play it again. I'm not entirely sure why the game slowly gets more and more pixelated as you collect gems, but it certainly added a sense of mystery, which I always enjoy!

Terribly Executed

First of all, this game is nearly unplayable. I finished it purely for the satisfaction of of beating it, but uncovered countless game-breaking bugs along the way. Every time you kill a robot, it lags for a second or two. Controls are sometimes completely unresponsive. The keys are sticky. No, it's not my laptop, it's the game. Everybody else has found these same problems, and your game is the only game that lags for me. I even completely vanished from the screen once or twice. Aside from the bugs, the gameplay is simply repetative and not fun. It seems like you tried much to hard to add things to make it unique, and it came out frustrating. Also, if you're boosting and then die, you'll automatically go back to the beginning of the level 9 times out of 10, because the S key sticks and that chooses the "start from beginning" option, which really pissed me off to the point where I almost stopped playing.

If this is all you have to show for two years of work, then you've got a lot of things to improve on as a flash developer.

The only reason I even gave you four stars is because of my personal likeness for Rina-chan. She's wonderful. <3

Glitched and annoying.

Well, first off, I suffered through the entire game just for the medals... and they don't work.

The concept is good, and meaningful at best, but putting the concept into the form of a flash game just isn't plausible. It simply wasn't fun. There's a very fine line between challenging and annoying.

Also, there's a game-breaking glitch that made it a lot harder to finish. About halfway through, the ball simply stopped working, leaving me to navigate by trial and error.

I wish I could offer better advice; I just think blindness is best kept seperate from gaming.

Worst Game on Newgrounds

First of all, the lag ingame makes it completely unplayable.
I can't jump when I want to, and I can hold an arrow key down for a full 10 seconds and nothing will happen until I release it, and I shoot 20 feet across the screen, and into a spike pit.

Secondly, there's absolutely nothing fun about this game. There is no real reward for the torture. It doesn't require any skill, just a megaton of patience. There is no indication as to when something is going to appear out of nowhere and murder you.

Lastly, although this is just a tidbit, the loading time on the replay screen is just obnoxious.

All in all, it's not even worth trying.

Difficult, but still fun.

For starters, the difficulty made it more aggravating than fun at points.
The medals are beyond impossible.
However, I did enjoy the concept of the game, and it was quite humorous.
The controls are a bit weird, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

When Pigs Die... Over and Over Again.

I agree with the general census. This is just far too difficult, and although I did finish it, it was just more aggravating than fun.

The medals may as well be impossible. Four minutes? It took me twenty.
No accidents? I had over 100.

This game is very well made, don't get me wrong, it's just not fun.

George, take this down.

This isn't done yet. You're only going to get us screwed over.

Great and Easy to Follow

I had absolutely no knowledge of ActionScript, or Flash in general, but I know now because of this tutorial. There were a few minor mistakes however that I had to work my way around. For one, in one of your movement codes you are missing a ";" which makes it not run properly. Also, during your "scrolling" tutorial, you do not mention how to zoom in the actual gameplay. I can make it scroll, but I still have yet to figure out how to zoom in the actual product. Any help with this would be highly appreciated.

Either way, great job. This tutorial is great for beginners and experts alike.
